Situated on the open Pacific Ocean,
Ucluelet is nestled between the two main sections of
the world famous Pacific Rim National Park
- the Broken Group Islands to the south and miles of
sandy shoreline that make up Long Beach, to the north.
The UNESCO Clayoquot Biosphere Reserve is a
short drive northwest along the Pacific Rim Highway.
Ucluelet offers visitors year-round
attractions including fishing, hiking, cycling, kayaking,
surfing, float plane and boat tours, whale watching
, storm watching, and eco-touring. Part of the temperate
coastal rainforest, this region contains a countless
variety of plant, marine, and animal life including our own resident Eagles.
